Eden Project Team Building days:
Over the last few months Plymouth Junior Chamber has been working hard to develop our links with the University of Plymouth in order to enable us to offer some exciting developmental opportunities to our members. This has now culminated in the PJC and Plymouth Business School (PBS) partnership scheme and you will all be seeing a number of opportunities and events relating to this partnership over the coming year.
The first event, being run under the partnership scheme, by Plymouth University are team building days for their students. These days will be an opportunity for the students to network with each other and is seen as a vital first step in the development of the students skills.
The team building days will be taking place at the Eden Project and involve, abseiling, bread making and much more.
As part of this, the University are looking for PJC members who would be willing to attend any of the days below as a 'mentor' to their students.
This is an excellent opportunity to start developing your skills in mentoring and also to have some fun.
The Day Away to The Eden Project will take place during the weekends on the following dates:
• Saturday 10th November 2012
• Sunday 11th November 2012
• Saturday 17th November 2012
• Sunday 18th November 2012
• Saturday 24th November 2012
• Sunday 25th November 2012
• Saturday 1st December 2012
• Sunday 2nd December 2012
If you are interested in attending and acting as a mentor to the students on any of these dates, please contact Charlie Mark at cmark@plymouthjuniorchamber.co.uk and we will book your place on what promises to be a fantastic day out.
